Jaycee's Christmas Parade, 2015
This is the meeting / staging area for bands in the parade.
This is City Hall, downtown near the Civic Center, and all bands meet here in this parking lot to warm up. We'll need to have all marchers and walkers here at this location IN UNIFORM (or SJS TSHIRT) AND with instruments NO LATER THAN 6pm!! The parade officially begins at 7pm, but we won't "pull out" into some time later.

WMBB will be broadcasting... set to record! :)
At the meeting, I was told that bathrooms would be open at the Civic Center, so we'll need to be sure all our little folks use the restroom BEFORE 6:30pm!!!!
They will not be allowing vehicles into the staging areas after 4pm, so you will likely have to park and walk your marcher to the staging area. I would HIGHLY recommend also having a vehicle or a ride arranged AT THE END OF THE ROUTE as well. You will NOT want to walk all the way back to the Civic Center after a 2 mile march!! In years past, the best area to park for the end was right around Tommy Oliver Stadium / Bay High School.
Once your marcher has "checked in" with me, he / she should NOT leave unless being escorted by a Volunteer Walker or their own parent to the restroom. Please be sure to let me know first. There will be a lot going on and I don't want to have to worry about wanderers. ALSO, please help me remind the children that they are AT ALL TIMES representing St. John Catholic School!
We will end at Tommy Oliver Stadium and marchers will need to "check out" with me before they can leave. Please be sure that the driver who is picking up your child is on their Permission Form!!
We'll be meeting at Pizza Hut to CELEBRATE after the Parade... come join us!!
As always, thank you for supporting the EAGLES BAND!!!
